Despite growing skepticism from critics and weakening public support, President Bush is urging NBC to ‘stay the course’ on Aaron Sorkin’s flailing melodrama “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip”.
In a surprise visit to NBC's Burbank HQ, the President told beleaguered executives, “Sure it's hard throwing away millions of dollars and sacrificing valuable American viewers, but you gotta keep at it. Heck, the battle for primetime isn’t just won overnight.” The determined President added, “Besides, that gay guy from Friends is super funny.”
