WAS ALIVE UP UNTIL YESTERDAY
Much to the surprise of nearly all Americans, former President Gerald Ford died yesterday. Ford, the the 38th president, was widely thought to have passed away sometime between President Nixon and President Reagan's deaths. A misnomer so prevalent that for the past five years even his own wife, Betty Ford, only spoke of Ford in the past tense. Funeral arrangements for President Ford were prepared years ago and in fact were carried out in the Summer of '02. No word yet as to whether President Ford will be buried at the Gerald Ford Memorial Park.
